Shantelle and I decided to use our passes and go to the water park. We went first thing in the morning so it wasn't crowded at first. We were planning on staying a couple of hours but we were having so much fun that we ended up staying five hours. There were two kiddie slides that the kids just couldn't get enough of. Aliyah didn't want to go by herself so Chase always took her. He was so sweet about taking her. But one time we wanted to see if Aliyah would go by herself. I was waiting at the bottom of the slide to catch her and Shantelle was at the top with her trying to get her to go down. Aliyah did NOT want to do it. So Shantelle was trying to encourage her and gave her a little push to help her go down. Aliyah stopped herself on the slide and climbed back up. We were laughing so hard at her determination. After that, we didn't make her go by herself.
I was worried that the boys wouldn't want to play in the "kiddie" area but they did. They still love it!
We rented tubes and had a blast with them. The kids loved floating the lazy river. We went on that several times. Aliyah was so brave and went on some really fast rides on the tube. Bridger is still small enough that he can sit on my lap. I love having a little buddy to go on the slides with.
This picture sums up the end of our day. Aliyah was so tired and ready for her nap but when we told her it was time to go home she didn't want to go. She melted down and had a really good cry.
