Tanner had a wonderful birthday! He requested a chocolate muffin for his breakfast. After much contemplation, he decided he wanted to have his friend birthday party at KZ. He invited Cy, Wyatt, Mack and Mesa but she couldn't come so it was just the boys. When they got her, we ate pizza. Then Tanner opened his presents from his friends. They were very generous with their gifts. Tanner was thrilled with his gifts! Then we had some cake and ice cream. Then we drove down to Ogden and let the boys jump for two and a half hours! They had so much fun! Bridger brought Thomas with him so he had a buddy to play with too. Chase just sat on a couch and played on his phone. (But at least he came). We bought them a slushy drink about half way through because they were so hot from running around. I think everyone had a good time. We didn't get home until 9:30! Tanner opened up his presents from us. He got daily calendar, learning ABC game, "watchimal" Spiderman rain boots, space book, some clothes, a Dalmatian beanie boo, and a Paw Patrol PS4 gam.
Tanner has a very strong personality. He can be the sweetest kid when he chooses!! But he can also be very stubborn and determined. He loves to play outside especially on the trampoline. He loves to do anything with his older brothers. He likes to ride his bike. He has no desire to ride it without training wheels. He likes to say "What the??" Which cracks me up but makes Grandma R mad. He loves to watch Paw Patrol or Puppy Pals. He loves to play with bubbles, pearler beads, play doh, dot paint and shapes pieces. He loves to play with his friends. He's been having more play dates lately. He loves preschool. He still is a picky eater but is adding a few more things to his list. I think he could eat Mac and Cheese for breakfast lunch and dinner. He likes broccoli which is so strange but I love it. He doesn't like to wear socks. He likes to play Minecraft with Bridger. He loves to dance to "The Greatest Showman" sound track. He has some "sick" moves!! He takes a nap every 2-3 days. He guest bed way too late because we're always up late with his brothers or other activities. He likes to sleep in until 9:00 which is so nice!! We're so grateful Tanner is in our family. We love him so much! He brings so much joy into our family!
On May 12th, we had a Mother's day party with the R's. We also celebrated Tanner's birthday with everyone. Grandpa and Grandma R gave him some magnaformers. They also said that they'll take him to Build a Bear and let him pick out an animal. The C's gave Tanner a dinosaur stamp set. The W's gave Tanner lots of CARS! Then Marilyn spoiled him with a Spiderman doll and sequin pillow.
On May 25th, we had a party with the A's. We celebrated Tanner's birthday with them.
