Bridger's 11th Birthday

Happy 11th Birthday Bridger!  Matt didn't have to go into work that morning so Bridger was very excited to open up some presents.  For his first present, he opened up a penny figit spinner that he's wanted for several months.  He was so excited with it.  Tanner immediately started to cry because he wanted one.  It made us all laugh.  Bridger wanted to go to K. Z. for his birthday so we invited the W's and the C's to meet us in Ogden.  Shan drove all the way up from AF to join the party.  Mylissa rearranged things and Julie even missed a friend's birthday party to come and spend the day with us.  Everyone ate lunch before we met around 1:00.  The kids jumped for a couple of hours and then were wiped out.  There were just a few other kids at K. Z. so the kids got a lot of playing time.

Mylissa was very generous and invited everyone back to their house for a swimming party.  Matt finished up with work so he met us at the W's house.  We picked up some pizza and bread sticks.  The  kids swam for a little bit and then we ate some pizza.  Then back into the water for more swimming.  When they finally got tired, we had oreo mint ice cream cake per Bridger's request.  Then he opened up presents.  Everyone spoiled Bridger!  Grandpa and Grandma R gave Bridger a soccer goalie net.  Mylissa gave him a dog throwing nerf gun and Shan gave him a fun new frisbee.  (Marilyn was on a trip with Allan and Kaye and their family so we missed her).  

Hazel loved splashing in the water.  She couldn't get enough of it!

Bridger was very happy with how the day turned out.  He felt very loved.  He's such a special boy.  We love what a tender heart Bridger has.  He's so kind to everyone around him.  He's a great brother to Chase and Tanner.  We love him so much!

We were so happy Matt was able to join the party.  He was the main entertainment.  He took turns throwing the kids up and out of the water.  It was all fun and games until Tanner went a little too high and then splashed down too hard.  Other than that little episode, everyone was loving the turns with Matt.  Then next few days, Matt's shoulders were so sore.

Bridger has been looking on line at bedspreads.  We've had a hard time finding exactly what he wants.  We finally found "the one" but then we couldn't find it in the right size.  I finally was able to find it on amazon but I told Bridger I couldn't find it.  So he was very surprised when he opened up this big present and saw his new bedspread.  His smile made it worth all the time I spent looking on line.

We had a party with the A family on the Saturday before Bridger's birthday.  Bridger requested marshmallow brownies.  It was fun to celebrate with everyone.
