Today was such a fun day. Matt's cousin, Paula, lives just outside of Bear Lake and has a boat. She was so sweet and volunteered to take us out on her boat. Mike and Matt met her round 10:00 to launch the boat. I went for a quick bike ride early in the morning. So when I got back, Amy and her girls and I made sandwiches and packed things for lunch. We met them around 11:00 and loaded up the boat with everyone but Ardell, Charlene, Amy, Angie, and I. The kids were so excited to get on the boat. They stayed out for over three hours. They left a big tube on the beach and Angie went over and took a nap on it. Everyone had a chance to wake board, surf, and "bubble jump." We ate lunch when everyone came back. Then we loaded up the boat again and brought the tube. Mikayla, Ashtyn, and Chase went on the tube for awhile. Chase looked scared to death but Mikayla and Ashtyn were laughing and screaming. We were laughing so hard just watching them. Then Matt, Bridger, Chase and I went on the tube. Mike went really slow because Bridger was scared. But then after a while Mike purposely made a sharp turn and knocked Matt and Chase off the tube. We had such a fun time! Then we went back and picked up Amy, Chelsy and Austin. Bridger and Angie had had enough so Angie, Charlene, and Bridger went back to the cabin to fix dinner. We ended up staying out for over an hour!!! When you don't have a watch on and you're having fun, it's easy to loose track of time. It was so fun to watch Matt, Mike, and Autstin wake board and surf. They had such big smiles on their faces. When we finally made it back to the beach and loaded up the car, it was quarter to eight! Sweet Ardell stayed behind to protect our stuff and to make sure we made it safely back. The men went back with Paula to load the boat. When we got home, Angie had a yummy dinner waiting for us. Everyone was SO tired that after dinner we plopped in bed and fell asleep! What a great day.
