Happy Father's Day

Happy Father’s Day! This morning we woke up around 8:00. We were hanging around the kitchen when Marilyn noticed a red fox out back by the big rocks. We were watching the fox when Matt and I noticed a moose just behind where the fox had been. It was incredible! It came a little closer, which was perfect because we could see it better. Chase was already awake and was watching with us. Maddy and Julie woke up just in time to watch it for a little bit. Matt was so excited that he went out to the trailer and woke up Bridger. Bridger was already awake but he was in the middle of changing his clothes. So Matt wrapped up Bridger in a blanket and took him outside to see the moose. It was awesome to see the smile on Bridger’s face when he saw the moose. We just sat there watching the beautiful moose. What a great way to wake up.

We fixed apple muffins with eggs and bacon for breakfast. After breakfast, the kids colored some wood masks that mom had found. Marilyn took them on an adventure walk. The kids closed the door to the loft and worked on a play. Later in the day, the kids put on their play with their masks. They were very cute. Maddy is very creative.
It’s been a very relaxing day. Mom fixed a great dinner. Matt requested to have roast. Like always, everything tasted so great! After dinner, we opened presents. Both of the boys had made something special for Matt in school. Chase gave him a certificate that said "world's best dad" and then he made coupons. Bridger gave him a tool box that was filled with candy with a tool taped to each candy bar. Matt is such a great dad!
