Happy Father's Day

For Father's Day, we made scrambled eggs and bacon for Matt.  Jen helped Tanner fill out the questions on the tie.  I love Tanner's response "I love dad more than sports."  I love the picture of Matt with the boys.  He's such a great dad.  We love him so much!

We got Matt some new shirts.  I found the "lab" shirt at Eddie Bauer.  Sophie really wanted to give that to him.  Bridger game him a "U of U" shirt.  Chase gave him water bottles and Tanner gave him a new swimming suit.

I had to talk in church today so I was super stressed!!!  Luckily I used a lot of one of Rob's talks.  But I still hate to talk in church.  I was a lot nicer after my talk was done.  Our ward made cute wrappers to go around Mr. Goodbar candy bars that said "Mr. Gooddad."  It was super cute.  After church, we went down to the A's for dinner.  Angie and Amy made a wonderful dinner.  It's been a few weeks since we've seen them because of IP.  It was so nice to catch up and enjoy visiting with everyone.  Everyone was there so it was great to see everyone.

Bridger's Teacher's Baby Shower

Bridger's teacher is due with a baby boy in August.  For the class's last party, the room moms threw her a baby shower.  We played a few baby shower games.  Then Mrs. H opened up some presents.  The class was so sweet to give her some gifts.  We gave her some board books and a cute little outfit. She sent us the sweetest gift expressing her appreciation.  She's been one of the best teachers Bridger has had.  She is strict but she still knows how to have fun and be loving with the kids.

Bridger was a member of the student council.  Mrs. Hawkins wrote: "you have done a great job reprinting the students at G E.  Thank you for all your hard work and support you have given me throughout the year as a member of the student council.  I wish you much success in the future.  Thank, Mrs. Hawkins"  He had a student council every Wednesday morning at 7:30 (an hour before school started). He only missed a couple of times.  Student council didn't turn out to be what he thought it was going to be but he still enjoyed it.  He was disappointed that he never got to do announcements over the intercom.

Bridge's 5th Grade Graduation

Bridger had his graduation from elementary school.  They did a short program where they handed out some awards.  Then the kids sang a song at the end.  It was short and sweet.  The school took "graduation" pictures.  I thought Bridger looked so cute in them, that I bought a package.  He's so darn cute!  Bridger has had a great school year with Mrs.  H.  Bridger is doing much better with the move.  I feel like he's finally adjusted.  He's made a lot of friends and seems happy.

Bridger's Spring Soccer Season

A couple of times Bridger played goalie so Jayden could get some playing time.  It always makes me so nervous when the boys play goalie.  There's so much pressure on them.  But Bridger enjoyed playing goalie for a little.
Bridger's had a great season!  He made 12 goals!!  At one of his games, he made three goals so he got a "hat trick."  I love his smile in this picture! He was so happy.

The team is made up of a great group of kids.  We're sad because our goalie, Jayden is moving.  He's really helped the team!
Coach Johnny has been great with the boys.  I think the team has really improved since we started together.  Unfortunately, his grandson Trey doesn't want to play soccer anymore so he's not going to coach.

Bridger's cheering crowd.

Mom, Dad, and Marilyn came up to the last game Bridger played in.  We were so happy to have them come up.

Tanner's Preschool Graduation

Bridger's preschool class did pictures a couple of weeks before the school year ended.  Tanner loves his preschool shirt and wants to wear it every day.

Tanner's graduation was so cute!  Ms. Ginger had the kids sing the songs that they had learned during the year.  She had each child come out and announce their name into a microphone.  I was worried that Tanner would be too scared, but he was very brave and said his name very clearly.

After the kids came out and said their name, they took on the steps for the program.  Tanner found me in the audience and was all smiles.  He kept flashing me the "I love you" sign.  He knows how to melt my heart.

Tanner's had a great year at Small Wonders Preschool.  He's made lots of friends.  He loves making crafts.  He loves singing time.  Every time I pick him up, he has a big smile on his face.
