First Day of School

Chase and Bridger went back to school on August 26th.  Bridger started 7th grade.  At the end of the last year school year, he was selected as a Head Husky.  He's so excited for the adventure that awaits for him.  He had to wear his Head Husky shirt for the first two days of school.  He had to stay in the halls and help students find their classes and open their lockers.

Chase started his junior year (11th grade)!!!  It's too bad that we're so poor that Chase has to wear jeans with holes in them.  Ha, Ha!  It's crazy that's the style.  But Chase rocks it!  He has a tough class load this year.  Maybe he'll finally have to study.  Chase is lucky enough to drive to school.  It's nice to give him a little extra time in the morning.  (But I worry about the school parking lot.)
Tanner wanted to be right next to Chase and see what all of this homework was about.

Tanner had to wait a week to start school because they do testing the first week with the kindergarten students to assess who needs all day kindergarten.  It was torture on Tanner not to start school with his brothers.  He would wait anxiously for them to come home.  On the first day, Tanner ran out to greet them.

Thomas is also a Head Husky.  Bridger and Thomas are such great friends.  I love this picture of them.

Tanner finally got his turn to start school on September 3rd.  My baby is in kindergarten!  He gets on the bus at 7:35!!!  The bus gets to school around 8:05. The students are able to eat a free breakfast if they want.  I took Tanner to school the first day and showed him the cafeteria.  His class also went down and ate breakfast on the first day.  School goes till 11:35.  By the time he gets home it's 12:10.  It will be a little challenging waking Tanner up so early at 7:00.  We'll definitely have to work on going to bed earlier.

Tanner has Mrs. B for his teacher.  She's darling with the students.  I was so impressed with her and her classroom.  Tanner's little buddy from church, Levi, is in his class.  All of his other buddies are in the other classes.  We were hoping that Mack would at least ride the bus home with Tanner but they're on different buses so we'll have to work out some play dates.
