Chase and Bridger's Spring Piano Recital

Chase and Bridger had their piano recital.  We invited Grandma and Grandpa A and R and Marilyn to come to it.  They are alway so sweet to support the boys.  Chase played "Waterfall" by John Schmidt. Chase and Bridger played a duet together.  Bridger played a Sonatina by Khulau.  The sonatina was a song that I had played many years ago.  I love listening to the boys practice.  They've gotten really good!!!  Jolynn is so sweet and encouraging with the boys.

Chase is Official

Chase had a hard time getting his driving hours because of soccer practice after school.  He had to do some in the morning at 6:00 but his nice teacher pounded out most of his hours during spring break.  Chase couldn't go after school to get his license because of soccer practice and games.  The only way he could get his license was if I checked him out of school.  So that's exactly what we did.  I checked him out during seminary and took him to get his license.  It was lucky split because he had already taken the test and had all of the paper work.  He's official!  He can legally drive now.

I went to take a picture of Chase and Tanner jumped in.  He always wants to be apart of things.  I love the picture of Chase and Tanner.  Tanner is my little buddy that comes every where with me.  It's weird to think in 10 years Tanner will be getting his permit.  That seems so far away!  Afterwards, I took Chase and Tanner out to lunch.  We went and grabbed a bite to eat at Old Grist Mill.

Tanner can do the monkey bars!

I took Tanner over to the park one afternoon.  He had me lift him up to the monkey bars but then he worked his way over and made it to the other side.  I was so impressed with his strength!  He was so determined to do the monkey bars.  He had the biggest smile on his face!

Happy Easter

Tanner's preschool had some fun Easter festivities.  Ms Nicole got the kids cute bunny masks.  She arranged for a fun Easter egg hunt for the kids.  Tanner had so much fun looking for the eggs.

After church, we came home and went through our Easter baskets.  The Easter bunny spoiled us.  The boys each got an outfit. Chase and Bridger got some extra clothes.
Tanner got a motorcycle guy, a small kite and then a little beanie boo Dalmatian.  Chase got some Nike socks.

On Saturday,  I threw together the the egg decorating stuff and cooked some eggs in the instant pot.  The boys had so much fun decorating the eggs.  Even Chase participated with us.  I found a kit that made the eggs shimmery.

On Sunday, we went down to the R's for Easter dinner.  We celebrated with the A's the Sunday before.  Michael covered for Matt so he could come down to dinner since he was first call.  Mom and Dad went to so much work and made an Easter basket for every grandkid.  Then Dad went and hid the kid baskets throughout their house.  (We couldn't hide them outside because it was rainy).  Maddie hid Chase's basket and Chase hid Maddie's basket.  Maddie put Chase's in the downstairs oven.  It took Chase awhile to find it but he finally found it when we played hot and cold with him.

Mom and Dad hid some money in some of the eggs so the kids got money along with lots of candy!! The kids loved hanging out with their cousins.  Mom and Dad try so hard to make everything so nice for us.

Sarah's Wedding

My sweet friend Sarah invited Matt and I to her wedding.  She got married in the Provo City Temple. Shantelle was sweet enough to watch Tanner while we went to the wedding and luncheon.  Shantelle checked Aliyah and Lilly out of school and took all of the kids to the butterfly exhibit at TP.  Tanner had so much fun!  He loves spending time with his cousins.  Shantelle is so good to spoil him.

Sarah has been through so much the last several years.  I'm so happy for her that she's found some happiness.  It was such a fun surprise to see my swim friends Beth and Jen.  Beth moved to Idaho and Jen is still in AF.  But I haven't seen either one of them for four years.  Luckily I've been able to reconnect with Sarah this past year.  I'm so grateful for their friendship.  They got me through some really hard times!
Matt worked with Sarah on OB for years.  It was fun for him to see some of the nurses from OB.
