Christmas Eve

It was our turn to celebrate Christmas Eve with the Rs.  Mylissa was sweet to offer her house as the party place.  We ate lots of yummy food and then played some games.  Unfortunately Matt was first call so he couldn't come down.  We played a fun bingo game with the kids. We had small presents for the kids to pick when they got a bingo and then you could steal from someone else when you got bingo.  The kids had a blast playing it!  We enjoyed spending a few hours together.  It was a great party!

At the end of the night, Mom and Dad had Marilyn open up her present from them.  She opened up a Mickey mouse stocking with Mickey salt and pepper shakers.  She looked a little puzzled but then she looked inside the stocking and there was a note telling her that Mom and Dad wanted to take her to Disneyland with all of us in January!  They paid for her plane ticket, hotel and Disneyland tickets.  It was so sweet because Marilyn started to cry and said "this is too much! But I really wanted to come!"  She was very happy with her gift.  It was a great moment.  Mom and Dad are so generous!  We're so excited to have Mom, Dad, and Marilyn come on the trip with us!!! Now we just need to get Shan to come along too.  The Ws are already on board!
