Chase's Early Season of Basketball

After some intense tryouts, Chase made the basketball team.  At the time, there was only one competitive basketball team in town.  (A few players didn't make it back on the team so they created another team).  Chase was ecstatic to make the team!!!  He's been practicing really hard and was hoping that he would make the team.  Coach Nate called Chase and told him where he finished in the tryouts and said "welcome to the team!"  It's a great group of boys and it's been really good to help Chase meet more boys.  One of the boys on the team, Ries, lives in our neighborhood so it's been great for Chase to have a friend.  We've carpooled a lot with them which makes it nice.  

Chase has practice twice a week, a game at the W. county fair grounds and then a lot of Saturday tournaments.  We participated in a Preston league and they boys won the tournament!!  I had no idea that this team was so intense but it's all worth it because Chase is happy!!
