A Real Christmas Tree!

Our fake Christmas tree was packed away deep in the garage so we decided to get a real tree.  Matt looked a little around town and couldn't find any pretty trees.  I asked Jen and she told me about this farmer that sells Christmas trees and poinsettias. So we drove out to his farm and had a great afternoon.  He had some sheep and goats for us to look at.  Tanner wanted nothing to do with the greenhouse filled with all the trees.  He kept running outside to look at the goats and sheep.  We found the perfect tree for a really reasonable price!  We also picked out a beautiful poinsettia.

The tree looked massive in our house but it sure was beautiful!! It had the perfect shape to it and it made our house smell so good!  We picked out bright colored lights for our tree.  We never got around to putting ornaments on it but it was still pretty.  (I had the ornament boxes in the house for two weeks and we never had a night to do it so I finally gave up and put them back out in the garage.
This is the beautiful poinsettia we bought.
The farmer said that he invites Santa to come to his farm for one night.  We a few days later just Bridger and I came back to see Santa.  It was a snowy, cold night so just Bridger and I ran over because we didn't know how crowded it would be.  Luckily it wasn't busy and we walked right in and visited with Santa.  He asked Bridger what he wanted for Christmas and Bridger told him that he wants the Kaylo Ren Lego Star Wars set.  Santa had brought one of his reindeer with him.  There was even a camel there for us to look at.  It was a nice break from the hustle and bustle of things.
