Skiing with the W's

I pulled the boys out of school a couple of hours early so we could go skiing.  It was the last day before winter break so it was a really short day.  Chase has had so much basketball on Saturdays that we haven't been able to go so I really wanted to get a day in.  Sweet Ardell and Charlene came up and stayed with Tanner so we could go.  We met Mylissa and her family at SB.  We ate a quick sandwich in the car and then put on all of our ski gear and got busy!  The weather was pretty nice at the bottom and on the easy hill.  But when we went up top, it was really windy and cold!!! Luckily Mylissa had given us hand warmers which saved our fingers!

This was Chase's first time going back to snowboarding.  He used his "new" snowboard.  He remembered his old skills on the snowboard and did great!!  It's so fun to see all the kids improving with the snow skills.  Mylissa started Caleb skiing too this season.  He was having a rough day so she stayed and worked with him for most of the time.  At the end, she and Rob traded and she was able to come with us for a few runs.  We had such a fun day skiing together!!
