Tanner 11 Months

Tanner is 11 months old.  He's still eating mostly baby food.  He's not very adventurous when it comes to trying new things.  You have to almost shove things in his mouth to get him to try new things. Once it's in his mouth he figures that it's yummy and wants some more.  He's starting eating goldfish crackers and loves them.  He still loves to throw his food off of his tray and watch Sophie eat it.  He also likes Sophie to lick his fingers when he's all done eating.  He'll put his fingers over the tray and waits for Sophie to come over and lick them.  YUCK!!

He LOVES balls!!  He'll find a ball in his toys and say "ball."  He's so smart.  When he gets excited he'll start to wave his hands in the air and say "ooh, ooh, ooh."  He likes to make an O shape with his mouth.  It's so cute!

Tanner is crawling like a machine now.  He's figured out how to do the regular crawl and not the army crawl.  He's pulling himself up on things and then walking along them.  He crawls over to the table and then tries to do a chin up.  It's pretty funny but then I worry about him falling back so I get him.  He loves to hold your hands while he walks.  He'll walk all over that way.  He prefers that way to pushing his walker

Tanner is such a happy baby!! He smiles all the time and it just melts our hearts!  He's a very busy baby.  He likes to get into everything!  He's figured out how to pull out drawers and open cupboards.  He loves to eat dog food which is so disgusting.  There was one time that I caught him eating dog food and he had four pieces in his mouth with more in each hand.  So the boys are trying to put Sophie's food outside so Tanner can't eat it too.  Tanner likes to play with Sophie's bowl.  He loves to bang the metal bowl on the tile.  At least it makes it easy to know exactly where Tanner is.  He also has discovered the toilets.  He likes to splash in the toilet water so we're quickly getting in the habit of putting down the lid so he can't play in them.  I worry more about drowning, scary!
