Happy 4th of July!

So normally we're in Island Park over the 4th but this year we went up a little earlier so we're actually home for the 4th. Matt really wanted to go to a parade so we drove up to L. and watched the parade at the Fire Station with the all the A's. Amy and Mike saved lots of seats right out in front of the station. Even Grandpa and Grandma came. The boys enjoyed the parade. Their favorite part was getting lots and lots of taffy. I was too hot so I spent most of the time inside the fire station hiding in the shade. After the parade, we went over to Mike's new house that he is building. It is going to be beautiful. I love the floor plan. It has huge windows with incredible views. Bridger kept walking around asking "how does uncle Mike build this?" He was amazed with his skill. Then we went over to the A's house for a summer BBQ. Like always, the food was delicious! Amy and Mike originally weren't planning on coming but then their plans changed so it was so fun to have them come too. The boys adore Uncle Mike. They can't get enough of him. He is so sweet to play with them. Then later that night, a few of our neighbors put their fireworks together. What a show! Matt "helped" the teenage boys light the fireworks. He turned into a teenager. He was like a little kid in the candy store. It was so fun just to watch him and listen to him giggling.
