Bridger's Fall Soccer

Bridger had a great fall soccer season.  His team has improved dramatically with their coach Alex.  They've also worked so hard!  They've been very dedicated to improving their skills. Alex asked Bridger to be team captain and to chose another co-captain.  Bridger was so sweet about it and really took this seriously.  He prayed about it and chose David on the team.  Bridger is a natural leader.  He encourages his teammates to work hard and give it 100 percent.  He doesn't tolerate any bullying.  He's done a great job of being their team captain.
In all types of weather, Bridger is ready to play.  At this game, it was pouring!!!  Luckily the game was at home.  We waited for the other team to show up but they never did.  I don't blame them for not wanting to play in this weather.  We were so grateful that they forfeited.

We lost our goalie about half way through the season.  Bridger and a couple of other teammates stepped up and rotated playing goalie.  They did a great job.  Bridger also played back on defense a lot to help them out.  He truly is a team player! It's not just about scoring. He's a great soccer player.  I love watching him!

Our families have been so sweet supporting Bridger.  Grandpa and Grandma A came to a couple of games and then the R also came to a game that was in K town.
