Camping for Fall Break

Even though I've been sick, I still wanted to do something for Fall Break.  So we drove the camper up to our favorite spot in Midway.  I was worried that it was going to be busy but when we got there there was only one other camper.  So we were able to get one of our favorite camp sites.  It has a beautiful view of the valley.  By the weekend, it did fill up a little and there were maybe 10 other camp sites taken.  It was nice to have it so deserted!
We carried on our tradition our second morning there and went into town to the little grocery store and picked out donuts.  I think the boys could live on donuts.  They definitely take after Grandpa R.

We saw a lot of deer while we were camping.  We saw the most in a field that is on the way into town. It was so fun to park the car and just watch them.

Even though it was a little chilly like 40-50's the boys acted like it was a heat wave.  They wanted to still play in the little stream of water.  After begging for a couple of days I gave in and let them play.  They had so much fun playing in the stream.  Sophie had fun too! She found a big log that she carried around and wanted us to play fetch with.

I texted Matt and asked him if he wanted to go to the cheese place with us.  He texted back "Yes!" Later that night when he came up, I learned that he thought I meant "cheesecake factory" in the text.  He didn't really want to go so the next day I took the boys while Matt was at work.  They said they wanted lots of ice cream but two scoops ended up being A LOT of ice cream.  Luckily the weather was nice and it was fun to sit in the sun and eat our ice cream.

On Saturday, there was a U of U football game on the radio that Matt and the boys were listening to in the camper.  Everyone was so excited when Utah won!!!

The boys are getting a little big to share a bed so one sleeps on the couch and the other sleeps on the table area.  Spoiled Sophie jumped up and wanted more room so she slept with Bridger.
