Work Praise

My awesome boss Genae called me and asked if we could do my evaluation over the phone.  She was so kind in her evaluation of me.  I'm always so nervous every year because I worry that I don't do enough at work.  I have to remind myself that there is a time and season to everything.  Genae said the most complimentary things to me.  It really meant a lot to me to hear her kind words.
I took care of the sweetest 84 year old lady.  She had a couple of daughters that stayed with her for most of the day.  They filled out this sweet card about me and gave it to my manager.  It made me feel so good.

Bridger's Winter Basketball

Bridger has had a great basketball season.  Luckily his body cooperated and he was able to play really well.  His knees are doing so much better!  It made me so happy to see him playing so well and having a healthy body.  Bridger was more aggressive this year and became a crucial player to the team's success.  His team played really well in the BC league but half of the teams were younger.  So when we played in Logan, it was a much harder league.  But the boys tried really hard.

Bridger loves playing basketball with Thomas.  Thomas has been such a great friend to Bridger.  I love how well they get along.  They play really well together and cheer each other on.

Bridger Builder of the Month

Each teacher is allowed to choose one student during the school year for Builder of the Month. (They rotate through the teachers).  Mrs. Owen nominated Bridger as Builder of the Month.  She wrote the nicest letter about him.  It was so complimentary!  We have loved Mrs. Owen!!!!  The day before, I received a phone message inviting me to come to a little presentation.  I told Bridger when he came home because he didn't know about it.  The principal did a little presentation where she read what the teacher wrote about each student.  There were four other students that were nominated that month.  I'm so proud of Bridger!

P is for Mailbox

Tanner learned about the letter P at school.  Ms. Nicole had each student write a letter and then she asked if we could take our child to the post office and take a picture of them mailing their letter.  When I picked up Tanner and asked him what he learned, he said "P is for Mailbox."  I laughed so hard.  I explained that P is for Post office.  Tanner loved getting his letter in the mail a couple of days latter.  It was addressed to "Mom and Dad."  Matt and I opened up the letter and it was the sweetest letter that had a big heart with red pieces of paper inside it and it said "I love you to pieces."

Tanner's Hair Cut

Tanner is able to go several months between hair cuts.  He was determined to cut his hair like Jagger's, his buddy from school.  He said that he wanted it pokey in the front.  Sherri always does a great job cutting his hair.  It makes it so nice that she's next door.   Tanner looks so handsome with his new hair cut.

More Snow Fun

While Chase and Bridger were at school, Tanner and I went out and played in the snow.  Amy gave him a really fun snow kit for Christmas.  We took Sophie outside and had so much fun.  I taught Tanner how to do snow angels.  We took a few selfies and then had Sophie get in the picture with us.  We laughed and laughed taking silly pictures.  I love my snow buddy!

Four Wheel Fun in the Snow

We finally got a really good snow store that dumped some snow on us.  The boys threw on their snow clothes and went out to play in the snow.  Mom and Dad are storing the four wheelers in our garage so the boys love to ride them any chance they get.  Chase and Bridger took turns driving the four wheeler while pulling a sled behind it.  The boys had so much fun!  Sophie was crazy but loved chasing after them.  She would try to attack the sled so we ended up having to put her inside because we were worried she was going to get hurt.  Tanner was a little nervous on the sled so he ended up riding behind the four wheeler more.  Matt and I sat out on the back porch and watched them.  We loved listening to their giggles.

Happy Valentine's Day

Shantelle texted me on Valentine's Day I the afternoon and said " I think the UPS man has a crush on me.  He brought me flowers."  It made me laugh.  When Matt came home, he asked if anything was delivered.  I told him nothing had come.  But then after dinner, around 6:30, the UPS man showed up with some beautiful flowers for me.  Matt and Robby found a really good deal on Costco's website.  The roses were beautiful!

We got the boys a little something for Valentine's Day.  Bridger and Chase got Stance socks and a fancy bracelet that is popular.  Tanner got a fun writing book and an ABC spelling game.
Sophie even got a little Valentine's toy.  She loves her chew toys.

Wicked!

Back in November, we bought tickets to the play 'Wicked.'  Bridger has been asking for the last several years to see this play.  The production was finally going to be back in Utah, so we forked out the bucks and bought tickets.  Only Mom and Dad wanted to come with us.  I'm so glad they did because it was so fun to have them come along!  We loved spending some time just with them.

We met at Little America and ate dinner there before the play.  Little America always has great food! Chase and Bridger are getting so grown up.  It's really fun to take them places and do fun things.  I was worried that our seats wouldn't be very good because it was picked over on the the first day.  Our seats were about 5 rows from the back on the main level.  Our seats ended up being awesome!  Everyone had a clear view of the stage.
The production was wonderful.  We loved every person and their voice.  Chase enjoyed it but Bridger LOVED it!!!  It was worth every penny.  Dad was so funny.  He said that he couldn't remember seeing this play before.  Mom went home and found a picture of us at the play probably 9 years ago.  Dad couldn't believe it.  It gave us a good laugh.

As we were walking out, we passed this sign 'Wicked.'  I made mom stop and take a selfie with me.  I'm so glad I will always have this memory.
