Chase's Fall Soccer Season

 Chase made a tough decision last fall and decided to change soccer teams.  He tried out and made the Pink Panthers!!  It's a level down from what he was playing so it's not quite as competitive which was really nice.  His friend Raeder is on the team and has introduced him to lots of new friends.  He's loved playing soccer with Raeder again.  It's been a great season!!! We've loved his new coach, Robert!!!  He's very positive with the boys yet makes them work really hard.  Chase was able to play offense and defense positions.  He's still a very strong defensive player!!!  There's a boy on the team who has a pool so they had lots of pool parties at his house after the games.  It was a short season because this league squeezes all the games into a six week period so it was very busy for six weeks but then it was nice to let Chase focus on flag football.  He's excited to play with this team again in the spring.

One Last Time!

 After the Webb Reunion, we went to Lagoon.  I wanted to squeeze one more time in before the season ended.  We have had so much fun with our passes.  Maddy came with us and then Rob joined us a couple hours later.  Mylissa stayed home with Caleb and Julie.  We only stayed for a few hours so it was a perfect visit.  It wasn't very busy so we were able to hit all of our favorite rides.  Plus Lagoon had all their fall/Halloween decorations out so we took some silly pictures.

I love this picture of the me with the kids.  Bridger really wanted to ride the train so we squeezed all of us into a little section.  Matt and Rob were sitting on the other side.  It was comical to see us practically sitting on top of each other.  

 Chase and Matt really wanted to go on Samurai together.  So I waited with Bridger because he's not tall enough plus I think the ride would make him sick.  Matt and Chase LOVED Samurai!  Just watching them made me sick.  I think they're crazy!!!

For the last ride, they wanted to go on the Rocket but Bridger wasn't tall enough so I waited with him.  It was so funny to see their faces as they blasted off.  They're a bunch of dare devils.  Maddy and Chase love the big scary rides.

Chase's Weblos Award

 Chase has worked really hard earning his Weblos award.  There were many requirements that he had to complete.  His leader, Rick has been so great to help his accomplish most of it at the den meetings. Chase is a great scouter!!!1

Canning with Marilyn

Marilyn heard that I wanted to do some canning so she said that she would come down and help me.  Mom was on her Mediterranean trip so she missed out.  Marilyn came down around 11:00 and we pounded out the canning. We started with apples first and canned about 24 pints of apples.  While the apples were processing, we started on the salsa.  I doubled my salsa recipe and it was almost overflowing out of our biggest pot. It took us the rest of the day to do the salsa.  Marilyn didn't leave until 8:00 that night and I processed the last jars until 11:00.   But it was all worth it because we ended up with 50 jars of salsa. Marilyn was such a BIG help!!!  I loved having someone to can with me.
