Nap Time

Sophie's decided that she likes to sleep on Tanner's bed.  Tanner loves it!

Tanner was supposed to be taking a nap with Matt.  I peaked in the room and found Tanner playing on the iPad.  Sophie and Matt were sleeping but Tanner had the most mischievous smile on his face.  He's phase out of naps for the most part.  If he does take a nap then he's up till 11:00.

Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving!  Shan and I agreed that anytime someone says "I don't think we're going to have enough food" we had to take a selfie.  It made us laugh!  Thanksgiving was at Marilyn's house.  There were over 40 people there!!!  There was lots and lots of food!!!  Mylissa and her family had Thanksgiving with Rob's family so we missed them.

While I was washing some dishes, I cut myself on a really sharp knife.  Luckily I didn't need stitches but it was a bugger to stop bleeding.  At least it got me out of washing the last half of the dishes.

Governor's Gala

With Matt being the UANA president, he and the vice Pres, Dan went to the Governor's Gala.  (Actually the UANA paid a lot of money to go).  I was really stressed about having to dress up but I was able to find a dress at D's.  One of the times that Ardell came up to help in the yard, Charlene came up too and watched Tanner for me so I could go dress shopping.  I got my first manicure!  I ordered fancy shoes.

We thought it was going to be a night of Matt mingling with other people for the UANA with congress people.  Surprisingly we didn't have to mingle and it was just eating a fancy dinner.  It was fun to spend some time with Dan and Shal Marie.  Matt and Dan get along so well and I think Shal Marie is amazing.  It ended up being a much better night than I had anticipated.  The food was fancy. I liked the appetizers the best.  The main dinner course was a little cold but everything else was really good.  (In fairness, it's hard to keep food warm for over 1,000 people).

For the entertainment, they had Loren Allred sing some songs from the movie "The Greatest Showman."  (She's the voice for the red hair actress in the movie).
