Happy Halloween!
Monday night for family home evening, we carved our pumpkins. Shantelle had a little pumpkin patch in her garden so we picked one from her patch. For Halloween, Chase dressed up as a "zombie" football player. I didn't really know what he had in mind for the Zombie thing, but I bought some face paint and it worked out pretty well. chase was happy with the end results. I just painted his face like he told me to do. Bridger wanted to be Commander Cody, a Star Wars Clone Trooper. I love the picture of Bridger posing with his imaginary gun.
Matt went trick-o-treating with the boys. Chase had a couple of friends go with them. They set a new record for how long they were out for. They started around 6:00 and didn't come home until 8:30! They had over a hundred pieces of candy!!!! Luckily the weather was nice and warm so they didn't have to wear coats. It was a perfect night for trick-o-treating. Shantelle and Robby came to our house for a quick stop. Aliyah was princess Sophia. Aliyah helped me pass out candy for a little bit.

Bridger's Fall Soccer Season
Bridger had a great fall soccer season. His coach (Ryan O.) from last year was willing to coach the team again so it was mostly the same team with a couple of new members. His buddy, Bronco joined the team and then Brody and Preston were on the team again. His uniform is a bright yellow and they came up with the team name of "Yellow Jackets."
I loved it when Bridger would score because he would have the biggest smile on his face and then hold up his fingers to indicate how many goals he got. He's really improving his soccer skills. It's so fun to watch these little guys.

Chase's Flag Football Season
Brenden, Sam B, Chase and Easton |
To celebrate a great season, after the last game everyone went to J dog's for dinner. The boys are a fun group of kids!! I'm just so glad that the season turned out well. Most of Chase's games were at night so I could never get good pictures plus he ran so fast that the pictures turned out blurry.
Bridger's Flag Football Season
Bridger was so excited to tryout flag football. You have to be at least in first grade to participate. He's watched Chase for a couple of years so he was excited to finally be out on the field playing the game. Brody's mom and dad were very sweet and volunteered to coach this team. It was hysterical watching these little boys play flag football. During one game, we noticed that Bridger had stopped pulling flags. When we asked him about it after the game, he said that he felt bad for the other team because they were loosing and some of the kids on the team were his friends from school. It was really sweet. He made lots of touchdowns and pulled lots of flags during the season. Grandpa and Grandma Adams came to one of his game. I thought we were going to turn into popsicles because it was SO cold!! They were great sports to come down and watch the boys' games in the cold fall air.

Camper of the Week
Bridger was selected to be "Camper of the Week" in his school class. It's like being the "Star" student but his teacher calls it Camper of the Week. He got to be first in line and be the helper in class. We picked out some pictures and put them on a poster. The poster is all about things that Bridger likes to do. He likes to go four wheeling at the cabin, so to Real soccer games, go to Disneyland, go skiing, and play in the water during the summer. He picked out meatballs and chocolate chip cookies as his favorite foods. He is such a happy boy. He's a friend to everyone around him!

Camping for Fall Break
Even though I've been sick, I still wanted to do something for Fall Break. So we drove the camper up to our favorite spot in Midway. I was worried that it was going to be busy but when we got there there was only one other camper. So we were able to get one of our favorite camp sites. It has a beautiful view of the valley. By the weekend, it did fill up a little and there were maybe 10 other camp sites taken. It was nice to have it so deserted!
We carried on our tradition our second morning there and went into town to the little grocery store and picked out donuts. I think the boys could live on donuts. They definitely take after Grandpa R.
Even though it was a little chilly like 40-50's the boys acted like it was a heat wave. They wanted to still play in the little stream of water. After begging for a couple of days I gave in and let them play. They had so much fun playing in the stream. Sophie had fun too! She found a big log that she carried around and wanted us to play fetch with.
I texted Matt and asked him if he wanted to go to the cheese place with us. He texted back "Yes!" Later that night when he came up, I learned that he thought I meant "cheesecake factory" in the text. He didn't really want to go so the next day I took the boys while Matt was at work. They said they wanted lots of ice cream but two scoops ended up being A LOT of ice cream. Luckily the weather was nice and it was fun to sit in the sun and eat our ice cream.
On Saturday, there was a U of U football game on the radio that Matt and the boys were listening to in the camper. Everyone was so excited when Utah won!!!
The boys are getting a little big to share a bed so one sleeps on the couch and the other sleeps on the table area. Spoiled Sophie jumped up and wanted more room so she slept with Bridger.

We saw a lot of deer while we were camping. We saw the most in a field that is on the way into town. It was so fun to park the car and just watch them.
